| Manee Chantakett, a 36-year-old Thai living in Singapore, had been a fitness skater for 2 years.A senior consultant in an IT company with a certain level of work commitment, she felt a need to balance work and play and to release stress. She thus decided to join Sandy Snakenberg’s speed skating training program in August 2003, and became a member of the Skateline Speed Skating Team.
Training with the team not only helps her to deal with stress but also avails her to the company of a new group of friends. It was a great experience for her to be in a world-class event and to meet world famous skaters. She looks forward to going back to Korea again next year. Her personal motto is that one should skate one’s life to the fullest. |
